  1. Dear all I thought I has posted this, must have not pressed submit! I have been asked to look into Mandatory Profiles and I have had some success. However, currently the profile is much larger than I would like (150MB). 146MB of that is AppData that was captured during the SysPrep/copying of the profile. I opened the Adobe CS6 suite, Office 365 suite, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I have been asked to compress this down to around 10MB. Has anyone any experience with this sort of task? Many thanks Sam
  2. Good afternoon all I am looking into UE-V and I am finding a lot of conflicting information that I was hoping someone could clear up. We are moving away from Roaming Profiles and want to move towards UE-V. I watched a video from BTNHD on YouTube from the beginning of last year, which makes reference to a client for UE-V. However, I have also seen someone say that the UE-V client is no longer required and is built in to Windows 10 Enterprise. I have tried to find pricing information on Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack but there does not seem to be much info out there, is it free? I know that it needs to be in the Volume Licensing Centre. We are currently running Windows 10 Education, does this mean we do need the client? Also, I have seen people mention a combination of Mandatory Profiles and UE-V, please could somebody explain? Finally, I have also seen on EduGeek that Microsoft are turning their attention to Enterprise State Roaming - has anyone any experience with this? Sorry for the long post! Many thanks Sam
  3. Hi all. Solved this now. I didn't grab a picture but I ran into a DHCP error. It turns out I was a missing driver.
  4. Hello all I'm now encountering a strange issue when deploying an image via MDT (see image attached), this is occurring on more than one device as well. I have never had this before and haven't made any credential changes either. I have tried a couple of things already Made sure that the SSD is completely blank using diskpart Deleted any test images from within MDT (I know this shouldn't make any difference anyway). Forced a complete regeneration of the WIM Made sure that the user we use to build has full permissions to the share (even though the account is domain admin) The deployment path was set by IP, I have reverted back to hostname. Has anybody got any other suggestions? Many thanks Sam
  5. Hello all! Apologies if I am posting in the wrong section. I am looking for some guidance on how to both create and deploy the Adobe CS6 Master Collection via MDT. Has anybody got experience with this, if so any guidance would be greatly appreciated? Many thanks Sam
  6. Good afternoon all I have a few questions about two of the functions in advanced configuration in MDT. What is the purpose of Media and what is the purpose of the Database? Many thanks Sam
  7. Hi all I am looking to create unified signatures across our MAT for staff, as at present we have an amalgamation of different variants of signature templates. We have a CC4 network with Azure AD synced enabled through AD Connect. We have a base signature template that we want to use, however I have found that the inbuilt Office 365 rules system can be a little bit flaky and will append the signature sometimes and will sometimes completely skip it. Does anyone know of any software (preferably free) or a better way of doing this? Many thanks Sam
  8. Good afternoon everyone I am currently experiencing an issue that I just cannot get my head around. USB devices will not work at all in the operating system, but will work in the BIOS. The only way I can access the machine at the moment is by using remote desktop. The machine is running Windows 10 1909 and all of RM CC4's stuff in the background as well. When going to device manager I can see the following (See screenshot) I get the following error when clicking the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller: "This device cannot start. (Code 10){Operation Failed}The requested operation was unsuccessful." I have attempted to uninstall the device, but it just comes back again. There is also no option to roll back the driver. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
