Is anyone else seeing an error with Teams when staff attempt to distribute pages to Class Notes. "There was a problem distributing this page to Class Notes to Student(s) in..." There seems no trend to when Teams decides to not allow this, most classes are fine. Even other staff/owners are able to do it in the problematic groups.

Agreed - why would they change this in assignments... an obvious educational feature?! Very odd.

For the majority of the time the behaviour in Teams seems to be that the display name attribute is used? We use lastname first initial for the display name, for example Bloggs J. For some reason Teams has switched it's behaviour in Assignments, it now displays the staff members full name when posting assignments? Anyone else encountered this, do you know which AD attribute Teams is using in this instance? Annoying, as staff don't want their first names shown the students and there seems no logical/simple way to prevent it?

We run a fairly large tenancy, large enough I don't really want to have powershell each individual users Teams policies individually. Only some of the policies now offer Group Policy Assignment. I noticed the other day Teams Admin center now allows you to create your own custom Teams Policy Packages and apply them to security groups... result! Or so I thought. I built one for our students, applied it to a security group of around 200 students on Friday, it's now Wednesday and it's only part applied. It is showing each student has an applied policy package but the actual policies for Meeting Policy and Messaging Policy for example haven't changed from Global (Org-Wide Default). I've done some reading online which suggest the process can be slow but 5 days?!

Our trust center/trusted locations GPO to allow macros to run in certain folders no longer works in Office 365. Has anyone figured out how to allow certain network folders via GPO? Thanks!

Max as well as disabling chat you can remove the Chat icon from the right hand side under Team Apps > Setup Polices Create a new policy for your students and remove the chat app out of it.

Hi all, We too have rolled it out across multiple schools with a fair amount of success, it seems Microsoft are tweaking Teams very regularly and new features/settings come available all the time. We have also locked down chat, as always the students have found a way. They are still able to set their status and @ users through there Anyone aware of this get around and has anyone managed to lock it down? Thanks in advance.
