  1. @Space_Munkey - it sounds like @MW_NetSupport and others have provided what seems to be the most likely resolution. Our support team are more than happy to assist you with resolving this (it does not look like you have raised this with them) Expect a message shortly.
  2. @Dos_Box looks like @MW_NetSupport has responded but let me find out more.... (thanks for the tag)
  3. @andy_b you have been speaking with our support team and we are working as quickly as possible to identify the issue and provide a resolution. I have asked our Support manager to arrange a call with you so that we can explain in more detail the steps we are taking to resolve this issue. I have also instructed your account Manager to pause the clock on your classroom.cloud subscription whilst we resolve this issue. We take customer support very seriously and will do our best to support you. Matt Jones NetSupport Limited Chief Operating Officer
  4. (For disclosure I work for NetSupport)... We are working hard to add more tech features to classroom.cloud with regular updates and new features based on feedback, myself and our product manager are really keen to share what we are working on currently so if you have time for a call please PM me.
  5. Hi @Norphy, As you may now have seen NetSupport DNA 4.75 has now been released and includes the above feature request (along with a number of other updates) - if you need help with updating etc. please contact our support team. Matt

  7. Good afternoon, Just thought I would provide an update on this thread to @foofighterjim and others who requested that NetSupport DNA included the ability to specify the number of concurrent logins allowed (currently you can stop a user logging on more than once)... So, the next update to DNA (4.75) - which is due for release in the next couple of weeks will provide this flexibility. Here's some screenshots: Select the required profile, and choose the {Logon Control} option: Specify the number of concurrent logins allowed (upto 5 - which we thought would cover most scenarios) Once configured the end user will get prompted if they attempt to logon more times than allowed: In the above example you can see we show the Logon time for each session to help the user determine which session the user may wish to log off in order to logon to the current device. I hope that helps - there are some other exciting features in DNA 4.75 but I wanted to share the above with you as I committed to doing this earlier in the year.
  8. Hi Tim, if you want a demo PM me and I will get it organised - sounds like Notify will meet your requirements, and I am sure we can sort out a good price - Matt - I’m now going to get back to watching Despicable Me 3
  9. Hi @cadcae, if you PM me your serial number/licensee name I can help you. Matt
  10. Hi @EducationTech, If you are interested to find out more about NetSupport DNA email me and I can give you some attractive pricing and help you with the tender response. Matt Jones NetSupport Limited [email protected]
  11. Hi (to be transparent I do work for NetSupport), I am guessing you are using NetSupport School in your classrooms, you would need NetSupport DNA to limit concurrent logins (you can choose whether to log users out of the previous session automatically or stop them from login in until they have logged out elsewhere) if you PM me I can explain in more detail and put you in touch with @Emma_NetSupport to see if we can switch you to DNA.
  12. If you are interested in NetSupport Notify we are currently running a Black Friday offer giving you additional months of maintenance. Click here to find out more: https://buff.ly/2Fv6vZM
  13. Hi Techiewils (and others), To be clear from the beginning, I work at NetSupport. NetSupport Notify is used by many schools as part of their lockdown procedure - I think the key is to have ‘options’, until a situation arises it is difficult to predict the best way to respond to it. So having a few different ways to send messages gives you flexibility - the examples in this thread are all good ones and they are not all expensive, NetSupport Notify would be another. You can send notifications to digital signage or user devices from your PC, Mac, iPhone or Android device, you can see who has received the message in real-time and you have a history (this is one area where it differs from other software solutions mentioned in this thread) The system is simple to setup and can be used for a variety of things (not just lockdown scenarios) You can try NetSupport Notify for free at NetSupport Notify - Alerting in Education and the solution is not expensive. If you need any assistance setting it up or have any questions I’m happy to help. Matt
  14. Hi disk, I will get our support team to contact you today. Matt
