Office 365\ Onenote issues
sister_annex replied to Frodo_Baggins's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
WE did for a short time, seems to be ok again now though no issues with EoL just SharePoint and Office based stuff/Teams - even the Admin Center was down for a short time. -
We have a stack of these dotted in use around our building which is like a giant faraday cage and they work great: https://www.onedirect.co.uk/mitex-general-uhf-two-way-radio-twin-pack you will need a license from Ofcom, however it's something pitiful like £140 for 5 years iirc

Going to either OVS with EMS or Campus with full A3

They've moved most of it to the M365 Admin Portal now, but yes, in our case, when we moved to EES we retained access to our keys etc. -
[22h2] What Remote Desktop Client are you guys using?
sister_annex replied to AB_IT's topic in Windows 11
We use Royal TS here: https://www.royalapps.com/ts/win/features -
The only way I've found to get access is to log in to Wonde, and use the url: https://school.wonde.com/YOURSCHOOLNAME/settings/upgrade ours also does have a big 'BASIC' label next to the wonde logo in the top left corner

I created this vbs a while back, it creates a log file (or csv if you wish) in a share for each username and computer that is accessed each time a user logs on. It just needs calling from your logon script. It may be callable via gpo however I've never done this so can't guarantee it would work as expected. The shares in question will need to be writable by everyone to allow files to be created. LogonTracker.txt

I'd be careful with this, as they tried to invoice us for premium after the 'trial period had run out' - we had not signed up for this, changed to Basic in the portal and still got a bill. It was sorted as a clerical error in the end but one to watch for, more for the switching us to Premium without our knowledge EDIT: I also think, making 2FA a paid for addition a bit sly too!
-
Just to caveat that when we did this it took at least 24 hours for the changes to show in Office365/Outlook/Teams etc.

Ours just worked. They sent me Instructions after I filled in the online Docusign stuff

Email Pre-Append Warnings - HTML Design
sister_annex replied to MYK-IT's topic in How do you do....it?
Something like this then? </pre><table style="width: 100%; color: #ffffff; background-color: #eb8334; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-collapse: collapse" border="0"> Caution: This email originated from outside of the School Network. Do not click links or open attachments unless you are sure the content is safe.</ I'll be honest my HTML/CSS knowledge is a bit limited, someone out there would no doubt do a better job than this -

This is what we use in school: </pre><table style=" width: 100%; color: #FFF; background-color: #D0342C; border-color: #FFF; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" border="1">CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the School Network. Definitely Second This! @Wave9_Lee and the team are great and the pricing was great also for our connection, FW and Filtering

We had this a while back, we use e410, 600 and 5xx points. I assume you're on the latest firmware? In the end we got it down to a config issue (trying to get the points to do too much). If I can get it out of our system I will post our AP config to see if it helps in anyway

That would be groupcall, we had the same yesterday, thankfully we booked ours in weeks back!
