  1. For some reason I got a notification for this thread despite not posting here for years. Wow, sounds like @ass17 has come along way with this, and they've even been bought out! Congrats, I hope there was a big bag of money in it for you. This app saved my bacon back in the hectic days of me dealing with exams all by my lonesome.
  2. I've been investigating an issue with several of our users being unable to use the password reset functionality with their Azure AD/Office 365 accounts. They click on Reset Password, enter their email, click next and nothing happens. I noticed all the accounts affected have Gmail addresses assigned as their recovery email account. Sure enough, any account with a recovery email other than Gmail that I tested works fine. I confirmed Reset Password worked on my own account, then changed the recovery email to a Gmail address and it stopped working. Changed the email back to my original, then back to the Gmail and it started working, repeat the process and it breaks again! I figured we may have a conditional access policy setup that could be breaking something but can’t find anything that would be causing problems. Has anybody else seen this weird behaviour before? Is this a known issue (Google didn't seem to return any results with a few searches)?

  5. No, it will just create another account, which will be listed as 'Federated ID' under ID Type. Just keep in mind if both accounts exist, they will need to select 'Company or School Account ' when signing in. [Edit] Looks like you can also change the account type https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/admin-guide.html/enterprise/using/switch-user-identity.ug.html
  6. If anybody works at a place where getting management to purchase anything like this is a pia, there's a free, open-source alternative - https://github.com/lithnet/laps-webhttps://github.com/lithnet/laps-web Really easy to install if you're in anyway familiar with IIS.
  7. I already created a thread for this here - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/educational-jobs/208544-technician-wigan-19-381-20-76-closing-5th-august.html For anybody interested, this is my role that's being replaced. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

  9. When will the beta tests be taking place? I can have a play with it at work, however will be leaving in a few weeks so don't have much time.
  10. So I've landed another job. This new job thankfully will have nothing to do with exams, so I likely won't be coming into this thread much anymore. Just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put into this and I think what you're doing is fantastic. I'll be sure to point people in your direction should I come across any other IT techs complaining about exams. Also, expect a lot of posts asking for help from my coworker lol.
  11. Well, now that you mention it......
  12. In the recent Lanuages and Music exam you have been able to (At least with AQA). Media Studies still has the designated pauses, but that's a video.
  13. It's what I'm currently doing. Having an audio player in the ExamWritePad would mean we're not having to use the split screen feature or allow minimise, which would make things easier for students and stop them from trying to use other applications.
  14. Control wise, it'd need to be able to pause, stop and switch back and forth between tracks. Being able to scrub through the track would be nice, but not required, perhaps at the least a button to skip forward 5/10 seconds with each press. Being able to load a playlist would be necessary. Don't want students to be able to re-organise or edit the track titles, I'd have no problem creating the playlist outside of the software if it's a simple XML file. How it'd look in the software, maybe just a sidebar with a list of tracks and has a section with controls at the bottom? I don't think audio cd support is neccesary, anybody that still does audio exams using CDs is a masochist.
  15. A wild one, but a nice little idea I had. Would it possible in the future for some simple audio player to be implemented?
