CEOP Ambassadors and those who are trained to present the ThinkUKnow. KCSO or other eSafety programmes, please declare yourselves here.
Please only join this group if you have one of these qualifications.
If you are willing to help out other schools or you are an Ambassador willing to cascade train ThinkUKnow trainers, please post in the discussions part of the board giving your rough geographic location.
If you would like one of us to help at your school, or want to get eSafety training going and don't know where/how to start, please PM us, start a discussion below or start a thread on the [url=http://www.edugeek.net/forums/e-safety/]edugeek e-Safety forum[/url].
Please be aware that we are volunteers and have paid jobs that must take priority, so your patience would be appreciated.

For others: the training can be done online here and once completed you are given access to ThinkUKnow materials. It costs £20, so it's affordable enough to get several staff to do it. Keeping children safe online | NSPCC e-learning course -

I have completed the KCSO and also have access to the thinkuknow resources and registered on there as thinkuknow trainer. Do I qualify to join this group? or is this CEOP only? -
Annual esafetylive events to be held in London and Edinburgh for 2012... bookings now open!! - aimed at all who work with children and young people - workshops by Facebook, OFSTED, Childnet and CEOP amongst many others. I became a Think U Know trainer last week after the training in Cardiff (hello if any of you were there) and am going to do the Ambassador training soon (hopefully Manchester in March). -
Thanks! I'm now trying to get our school to let me train all our staff, and ideally our cluster primaries as well. The half day required is putting them off..... -

Does anybody have any concrete info about the future of CEOP? I keep hearing rumors of close downs and the like, but can't find much that's definitive. Jim Gamble's loss will be significant, but fair play to him for standing up for himself and the group.

Greetings, I'm a CEOP Ambassador and eSafety officer providing training for a London Borough.

I'm based in Bridgend S Wales, at present I can only deliver the program. I am, however, undergoing the Ambassador training in January and will be able to train up people to deliver the training after this. More than willing to offer advice, training, etc., to local schools or groups.

Slightly advance warning at this point, but as a CEOP Ambassador I plan to run a training event for nearby schools at my own school in Berkshire in the first half of the summer term 2011. If anyone would like further information when it is put together, please drop me a line. -
