  2. Hello, Apologies if this sounds a bit obvious. Presumably, you've checked that you don't have 2 anti-virus programs running as this does cause blue screens, we had an issue recently where an old installation of Norton was not correctly removed and was still running in the background whilst Sophos was then installed... consequently the laptop was totally unusable in terms of speed and would then blue screen. If you can get into safe mode it may be worth checking the consistancy of the XP system files (cmd -> sfc /checknow), do a chkdsk & download memtest and give it a whirl to see whether it is an issue of the memory itself. Check all your drivers for sound, video and the like are up to date, if you've recently installed any new drivers or software... even though it may seem totally unrelated remove it/roll back. Good luck
  3. Hi, I knw this place is not for work but as ithis is personal it doesn't fit into any other catergory, so here goes. 4. Rebuild may be the quickest and easiest solution.
  5. Dont use RM sorry but can tell you that VNC is one of the best tools to remote control. Allows user to interact too.
  6. Well I dont have RM but sometimes using RDC even though the user has logged out windows still thinks there is a session until they are rebooted. Does rebooting fix the problems?
  7. i've tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling rm gina, switching computers off and on, removed student profile from Docs & Settings. I cannot remote to 3 computers in the school, I keep being told that students are logged on, when I go to check there aren't any students there. When I do try to remote to it, it throws me out, Help!!! What do I do?
  8. I have no idea so I need, sum1's help. One of the teacher keyboards has a problem, none of the CTRL keys work on it. This is kinda annoying as sometimes the mouse doesn't give you the option to copy and paste. Changing the keyboard is the easy option, but I don't want to do that yet, not until i know theres nothing I can do. So does anyone have any ideas, because i'm totally outta of 'em. please help anyone.
