Steven_Cleaver Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Hi I need to manually install SIM's setup on a workstation becuase of an Issue I have had with installing a patch for Exams by running SIMSINST.EXE from the Server but am getting an error saying the date and time do not match and aren't in the required format even though when I check Control Panel --> regional settings they seem correct see below;
BKGarry Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I remember something about a little tiny patch for this way way way back when capita first started supporting Vista (yes we still have some of those evil clients). It may be worth checking out supportnet, as it should be on there 1
bushby Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 had this issue before some time ago. if i remember correctly the solution was to change it to the usa, reboot then change back to the uk and i think it worked 1
BKGarry Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 just saw this for incorrect date format in Nova/Options, may work Change the Workstation setting to say 'English (Canada)' and Save. Then change it back to 'English (United Kingdom)' and save. It may be necessary to do this on the Server rather than just the workstation. same as above pretty much 1
Steven_Cleaver Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Changed it to Canada UK rebooted and all looks good so far looks like the installs running so many thanks.
Greg Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 This is a known issue with W7 WS's when built from an image, we have to change all our imaged WS's to USA and back to install SIMS 1
