Permissions after login

Hi all, we have setup HAP and all OU's, everyone can login without a problem but thats about it. The homepage comes up saying "you do not have permission to view this directory or page".

 

Any help at all will be appreciated. We are on RM CC4 network with a vanilla 2008 server running v.8.7 HAP with .net v4.0.

 

This screen shot is after login... even if we login as the server administrator

You may need to double check the default.aspx default page is in IIS

Hi Nick, thx for the quick reply, I have a Default.aspx in the hap folder... is that were you meant ... Here's another screen shot, it seems weird that any staff can login but not access the homepage.

HAP+ v6+ doesn't use the network service, it uses the application pool identity, IIS AppPool\HAP in most cases. See the documentation for how to find this user, or you can use: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-access-plus/84055-cant-find-iis-apppool-hap-answer.html

Hi Nick, found out that when it says "you do not have permission to view this folder or page" and then if i add Default.aspx at the end of the address... e.g. Change https://folders.school/hap/ to https://folders.school/hap/Default.aspx it works really well.... It seems to be the redirection from the login page.... This is happening for every icon button in the site ... It seems to be that the site can't use Default... I have tryed changing Default to Index but its still the same... Please help.. we are so close with this system.

Check IIS, it's the settings in IIS Manager stopping it. The default pages section, remove everything and add default.aspx
