We are looking buy a Nutrition Program or a free one if there is an alternative. So I was wondering what people are using.

We have Nutrients but we are looking for something more up to date if there is such a beast.

Thanks for that, I thought it looked a great resource but the Food technology teacher is saying its not what they need for GCSE, and like most teachers she doesn't elaborate.

So are there any suggestions.

I bet that is 100% BS. Check the exam specification.

You can get site license pro accounts and download all the data for graphs etc.

TBH, the cynic in me is saying this is BS. [Like @CyberNerd]

Sounds as if the teacher is being evasive because they simply WANT that specific piece of software or because their lesson plans are specific to it and they can't be bothered to tweak it.

I agree with the pair of you and I think I am going to do exactly what you have said. My wife works in exams in another school so I will phone her and get the specs.

Thanks guys for underlining what I thought.

We have (or had) an online subscription to the Jenny Ridgewell online nutritional analysis program its completely web based so no work for IT to do other than ensure Smoothwall liked the site which it did :) It was certainly cheap enough and ticked all the boxes for the WJEC Catering we teach at GCSE.
