Just spent the afternoon at our local apple store with the business consultant talking me through setting up and deploying ipads using, Mac mini server, apple configurator and profile manager. Looking into Lightspeed MDM or Meraki.

 

Is anyone able to provide some advise or a quick chat and answer a few questions.

There is no need for a extra mdm then, Profile Manager is a MDM

Whilst Profile Manager can deploy profiles to enrolled devices, it is not a full MDM solution as it does not integrate with Apple VPP for app deployment
