Security Settings

When First setting up HAP there are some security settings what need changeing E.G something like the app data folder needs the user "iis" modify access.

or "network user" needs special permishans its doing my head in. any help would be greatful.

 

i have read it before in these forums but can not find it.

 

did have 8.6 working find now have just downloaded 8.7 and trying to resetup ?????

 

working on windows sever 2003 sp3

c:\inetpub\wwwroot\hap <- Remove inherit permissions, set NTAuthority\Network Service and IIS IUsers read and execute

c:\inetpub\wwwroot\hap\app_data <- set NTAuthority\Network Service to Full Control, or Read/Write/Execute
