Morning all.

I set up WSUS using the guide on here.

Its only picked up only 37 computers out of the whole site. (over 200 computers)

Have i done something wrong?

Thanks

(sorry to be a quick posting)

WSUS Error1.jpg

this is what i get when going in to server manager. I have a feeling thats its something to do with IIS.

Nothing is helping me. Event log is not showing any errors.

(i have restarted the server and i got no errors in IIS or WSUS event logg since i restarted it)

If I remember right it's something to do with duplicate SusClientIDs, the conflicts mean they won't appear on the console. (It might be something else but it sounds it's most likely this issue, though I'm sure one of the veterans will correct me if I'm wrong!)

Try this article: Resolving the duplicate SUSClientID issue, or (I can't find the original article I used, le sigh.)

Not odd at all, yes you do! Weren't you given any prompts about proxy settings when setting it up? (just curious, it's been ages since I used WSUS)

If the proxy's in WinHTTP that's all you should have to do.. otherwise I'm out of ideas.
