KMS server 2012 key now new Windows 7 clients won't activate

I'm getting the error the the key count is too low. Was this expected behavior? I was expecteing a new count for the windows 8 and 2012 servers, I didn't expect it to affect new windows 7 machines. I also put office 2013 in but the new office 2010s activate fine.

 

Before I reKMS a suite of PCs did I mis-step?

That's normal. The machines call back every 7 days (I think) and that should get the count up. Office products remain separate activation counts while Windows is integrated.

Great just to reiterate, server 2012 standard host key (CSVLK) can activate windows 7 & 8 enterprise and server 2008, r2 and 2012 standard?

Yep, should be fine. We have a Windows Server 2012 Datacenter key activating Windows 7, Windows 8, Server 2012 & Server 2008 R2

Damn, it seems there is a problem with the office 2010 KMS. I tried to force an update for 2010 on my workstation and the error KMS unavailable comes up. Looking at the KMS server the office 2010 says out of tolerance grace?

 

it was working fine until friday when I used the hotfix for the server 2012 key and the new kms program for office 2013. I assumed they could co-exist.

They should. Try inputting the KMS key in again on the server.

I had to do a "slmgr.vbs /ato airw89yrqw99wghfw9h8ef" IT took ages to find the activation id though. "slmgr.vbs /dlv all" didn't know about the "all" feature. Anyhow I couldn't see the office 2013 in the list. I'm installing VAMT 3.0, I hope this sheds light on things. (needs sql! errrgh)

I think MS provide free support for KMS issues. Might be worth pestering them.
