Problem with Mandatory Desktop

Hi

The primary school I have a problem with are using Server 2008 r2 with Win 7 clients.

 

I've created a Mandatory profile using the Guest account from a computer not on the domain and arrange the desktop icons as required.

I then copied the Guest account to the shared folder on the server with full rights for 'authenticated user' and I edited the ntuser.dat with the same permissions.

My next step was to change the ntuser to . man and the paste the path into the users Profile Path tab.

 

When I log on I get my desktop as i'd arranged but I also get the icons that where in the Public desktop.

 

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
