Enterprise network manager required for a large secondary in a challenging part of South East London. Working with BSF partners and other agencies including the LA you will be able to manage day to day ICT resources including 2003, active directory, ISA, Integris, exchange, back up, purchases, licensing issues and extensive documentation. You will be working with a leading BSF partner so its an excellent opportunity to get into pro active technical consultancy

OK more update on this, the school has one manager already whom you would be working alongside, good microsoft skills are the minimum skillset and you will be aiding the school through BSF, sims, integris and other school specific software is useful but not vital. You would be ultimately hired by the BSF ICT partner but will deal heavily with the LA as well and helping to manage 2 other technicians

 

Salary is £32K but remember you are not the only manager there so you are sharing responsibility, interview this week, start asap

Just out of interest - even though the school is BSF you still have autonomy over your network?

Its difficult for me to say to be honest and its early days in this authority, your contract of employment would be with the BSF provider but the role is to be permanently based in that school. However being part of a major London BSF provider you would potentially be able to advance your career in that company in other schools or authorities at a later stage.
