Hi, Has anyone used the HP ProBook 4545s in a school enviroment ? They are pretty cheap and good looking laptops. I passed on some samsung ones because of the lack of usb ports (only 2) and because they are so close together. I am slightly concerned about the A4 processor thats onboard. Oh also the windows 8 doesnt bother me because i can downgrade. I need a product that is strong robust and is quite powerfull for teacher use.

A example link to the product is here:

HP ProBook 4545s AMD A4-4300M / 15.6" / 4GB / 320GB / Windows 8 Pro / Laptop / Notebook PC (C5C51EA) - www.misco.co.uk

Any Advice ?

Thanks

We have some of the HP ProBook 4540s and the 4530s which have the Intel processors and we think they are great. The teachers like them as well, the screens are nice and clear and the keyboard is organised well. They also have a decent battery life.

Im still slightly concerned about this laptops CPU. If anyone can tell me, even if its not this exact laptop how the AMD A4-4300 performs that would be great I cant find anything much in the way of performance tests. I cant even find a youtube video of someone using a lapatop with this processor it.
