realtnt Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I know this is an ancient thread. Just wanted to add my experience in case it helps anyone. I set up wpad via DNS and I'm deploying some iPads at the moment. If I set the wifi http proxy to auto and leave the url empty it works just fine. Picks up the settings and youtube for example is unblocked. (if I put a link to a pac/wpad file in the URL it doesn't work) The only problem is that I can't update that setting via Meraki, as I can't set it to auto without putting a url.

After April, that leaves some scope doesn't it. I have made my decision, we are cutting away just resolving the last couple of issues regarding BGFL services.
