Connection between Office 365 and Outlook dropping out

I've done that, once it drops i'll fire the logs over to you, I think i've got your email address from the last time you helped me out with this.

Can you take a netmon capture in addition to the outlook logging. If the internet connection is out of your remit then there isn;t much you can do there.

 

What about any proxy you have, or is that all provided by someone else?

Ive been trying outlook connection to office 365 exchange from home tonight, no problems what so ever, so it's something to do with the connection to the internet from school. At least I know what to look at now, i've got a case opened with the BTOneConnect guys about this, so fingers crossed they'll figure out what it is.

It seems like it may be a keep alive setting or something similar I have seen with Exch 2007.

 

The netmon may show you if the connection is being terminated or dropped.

Just to update anyone that may be interested, I've been told today that the link to our school is dropping packets, and this could be the cause of outlook losing the connection to office 365. I'm waiting for the network team to see if they can clean up our line for us.
