Best sub-£200 phone for PAYG?

Hello!

 

I'm buying a smartphone for my Grandad for Christmas, with a £200 budget.

 

Anyone got any opinions on which to buy? Edging toward the Orange - San Diego at the moment, spec seems to be decent...

I got a Alcatel Onetouch 983, very impressed as it was only £40 and has android 2.3, plus all the normal hardware (3.2 camera, 1Ghz CPU, GPS etc). Is well built and feels good. Highly recommended for a cheep phone.

Huawaei G300 or if you can wait the G330 which will be available in the new year.

I picked up a Huawei Blaze (Android) from phones4u on the weekend for £29.99. It's a little cracker.

 

I have a bad track record with phones so I tend to avoid expensive numbers. At that price, it's a worry-free phone.

Does it have to be PAYG? can get a 24 month contract for not much more as a total cost:

Thanks for the advice guys, I managed to get a San Diego for £100ish after some quido cashback, so it was a no-brainer!
