cookie_monster Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 As the title says my Windows livemail has stopped working. Today it stopped sending messages, in the end I deleted the account and re added it and now it won't sync with my hotmail account at all it just doesn't pull anything down. I've reinstalled the program and deleted the mail store folder. If I login to the wifes user account it works fine with her hotmail still. I'm a bit puzzled can anyone help? I'm using Windows 7 with the latest Livemail 2012. Cheers.
cookie_monster Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Couldn't get to the bottom of the issue, in the end I deleted my user profile and that sorted it.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Windows Live Hotmail account. Server Error: 3204 Server: 'http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003 I might see if Thunderbird is a suitable replacement. cookie_monster Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 Well I finally sorted the issue: Deleted registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail Deleted folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail Reinstalled Windows Live Mail That was the only fix that sorted the issue.
