Removing Ranger 7

Hi there

 

Well im wanting to remove ranger from one of my primary schools. Can ranger be removed from all the cilents machines with a script?

 

If so has anyone got that script?

You'd be better off re-imaging workstations as new. This guarantees there are no Ranger components left. It's the same with RM CC3/4 too.

If they have Ranger Remote Control or AB Tutor couldnt you just login using the RangerRemove Account?

Ranger doesnt mess with the AD itself so removal is fairly simple unlike RM & Classlink.

Just make sure that you have tested your Vanilla setup fully in an OU and with a user profile without Ranger influence first.

 

Out of all of the Management Systems out there Ranger is probably the least intrusive.

Make sure all of your PC's are Ranger Free before removing it from the DC...
