Hey everyone.

ive got 15 desktops that keep automatically addding old printers when i delete them, so my thought is that it was Group Policy but i have had a look and cant find them and i have setup a GPO to add the new ones on startup. I did a gpupdate /force and they still just add the old printers. ive took them off the domain and deleted the printers and then restarted and they come back AGAIN!

Its driving me mad! any thoughts welcome!

ive checked sysvol/netlogon and there are no scripts for installing the printers in there, ive also checked to see if there is one on the local machines. Im using Server 2008, is there Resource tools for 2008? Thanks ill give it a try anyways. Edited by uffy2000

You can run it from the server and remotely clean and reboot workstations as required. It sounds like a script was used and that registry entries (on the local machines) are making it re-appear.
