IE8 page cannot be displayed

Hi all,

 

IE8 on WinXP. Is anyone else seeing IE suddenly die with "page cannot be displayed" with the only solution being to reinstall? Sometimes images stop displaying before it dies.

 

We run Impero with it's proxy bit enabled so I've tried disabling but that doesn't help.

I found this which re-registers all the DLLs but it doesn't help.

 

It seems to happen a lot more on staff PCs. As we have impero enforcing only 1 concurrent session for pupils but not staff I wonder if it's a profile issue causing it. Deleting the users profile does not help however. The only solution seems to be reinstall.

 

Anyone had similar.
