DFS, please confirm something for me

I feel like i know what this has but part of me wants it confirmed else i won't feel happy...

 

If i disable a folder target within the namespace section of DFS but i leave everything enabled in the replication seciton of DFS, that means the folder will continue to replicate but when someone refers to \\domain.local\dfsshare they will never be connected to the disabled folder target?

 

Is that correct? or does it disable replication as well?
