Weird printer error (have to delete and add each day)

I've got a HP laser printer shared on a Server 2008 (R1) box.

 

It was working fine until the unit was physically replaced with an identical warranty replacement. The printer was set back up exactly the same (IP address etc etc)

 

Now for some reason each morning unless I physically delete the printer from the server and add it back again the printer is shown as offline and will not work.

 

Getting somewhat frustrating! Never seen anything like it.

 

Any ideas?

Check your login script if the printers address changed the old script may be trying to map the wrong ip. Also make sure there isn't a gpo pushing the printer out. Something on the domain level is pushing it down if it's re-adding to all your workstations just a matter of finding it.
