[ubuntu] It just wont join to W2008 domain.

Hi,

 

Im trying to connect a ubuntu server to a windows 2008 domain but i just cant get it to play.

 

I've have followed so many guides which all say different thing which doesnt make sense. Surely all guides should be telling you to set it up the same, but no.

 

Some guides fail at the wbingo -t trust bit. Others dont join at all. they all say to install software that just doesnt exist.

 

Every guide seems out of date and things have changed now. To be honest im finding linux to just be an overrated OS that is just complicated because it makes it look better.

 

Has anyone found a up to date guide that works with 2008 domains?
