stevef1 Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Hi at my school we are evaulating the NComputing L200 as an alternative to standard PC's, i have deployed around 22 of these devices and all seems to be working ok, they work in a similar way to thin clients and seem to be great for standard apps such as word, excel etc, anyone using these yet? stevef1
Ric_ Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Never seen those before and they certainl look interesting. What is the benefit over proper thin clients?
stevef1 Posted July 1, 2007 Author Posted July 1, 2007 depends i guess, the cost per unit was about £118 each, very small foot print, i know i could get a mini itx setup but that involves more work depending on what you get and i'm also looking at other solutions these units just fitted the bill nicely and were easy to get also looking at http://www.chippc.co.uk/ but i don’t know the price of these yet.
