Pop up box in Joomla 1.5 from article

Hello All,

 

I am doing some regular maintenance work to our website, of which we add a banner now and again to advertise events, and I thought, there must be a better way to do this. What I would like to do is be able to use a plugin/module etc etc to show an article in a popup, the only free one I have found which does it (I can't remember the name because I uninstalled it) messed up the article layout screen.

 

The only other thing I can think of to make it work nicely is if you can set a picture to be a % of the screen/article layout section, as everything else resizes except the banners, which makes the whole process quite annoying.

 

Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Don't know if this is any good, I have not used it, but have used the eu privacy module this guy provides. That is really easy and does what it says on the can.
