I have the new windows 8 style home access plus. I have setup the network drives for staff and students. When i log on as a student they can see the upload icon for there home drive but if they choose another mapped drive "hand in work" the upload button does not show.

The hand in work drive is setup a different way - the nt permissions on the server are set like a post box as to they can hand work in but cannot delete the file. Do you think thi sparticular style of permission is stopping the upload icon? as they dont have full control on this drive?

Is it possible to force the upload button for the students?

Also is it possible to change the file limit size i think its 8mb but there are a few files I try to upload i.e jpg thats 3mb and they dont show? I just wanted to confirm that the size limit is set correctly.

Many thanks

Gareth

Yes, not being able to delete the write check file that's created will make hap+ run that folder in read only mode. Usually a CREATOR OWNER for files which then allows deletes should fix it, if you are ok with students having delete rights to their own files.

Alternatively you can disable my files read/write checks via the setup page

Just updated the version 10 of Home Access plus and it seems to have resolved the issue :)

Is there a way to stop the help screen at the beginning displaying for all users

I am also unable to see either the "New Folder" or "Upload" buttons. I have done the same install at 3 schools, 2 working fine, this one not. Typically, this is the School that REALLY wanted HAP the other 2 were testers. Running on a Windows Server 2012 R2 with HAP Version 10.5. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
