Just a quickie, XIBO have update their software recently with WOL capability which is a week too late for me as I ended up doing it in the BIOS :)

The update process was relatively painless except by timings changed so the text whizzed up at 100 miles per hour.

They have changed the layout a bit and its copying and pasting from word for me alot slicker.... the console seems alot faster too.

I haven't messed around with campaigns yet, looks interesting.

I have tried this with the new version of the client too and if you have a few videos on a timeline, the software will not go past the first video. The transition doesnt happen.

I have all the timings correct, but cannot seem to get this working.

Any ideas?

Also, i have been using the v 1.2 server and client and having trouble with autoupdating the content. In previous versions i could edit the content and then have the clients set to 120s refresh. This would then update the displays automatically. On v 1.2 the clients are setup exactly the same, but the content only updates when the layout is re-started (every morning).

Any ideas on this? Do you have it auto updating?

If you set times to 0s for videos, this solves the transition problem. Still stuggling with auto-update though.

Have been using Xibo for a few years have also just upgraded to 1.4.0 (I see there is also an patched client out already to fix the 0 bug on video media) but am interested to know if anyone is using the python client and if it supports transparency with flash / png etc? I note the documentation for the windows client still says it doesn't support transparency with flash but it seems to be working on one of the displays I'm running with 1.4.0.

So anyone using the python client and whats the advantages/disadvantages if any?
