We have Ruckus, but it'd be nice if it did "X" - what's X?

To be clear - I'm not bashing the kit (reviewed it a few years ago and while it didn't meet our needs then, there wasn't anything really wrong with it judged on capability vs price).

 

From reading sales literature and technical documentation, I get lots of "we can support LOADSA CLIENTS" per AP and "REALLY EASY TO USE", but not a great deal about anything else. I don't really care about easy-to-use, I do care about feature parity with existing kit.

 

So if you have experience with Ruckus hardware and you've played with other hardware (Cisco, Aruba, Aerohive, whatever) as well, what desirable features is the Ruckus kit missing?

The only thing I miss is the built-in guest portal that Meraki has that can take credit cards. Ruckus has a guest portal, but it doesn't have payment methods built-in.

 

To be fair I think Meraki is the only brand that has this as standard.
