Clive Dunn OBE dies, aged 92

Very sad to hear that Clive Dunn has passed away. I have a lot of time for Dad's Army and loved him as Lance Corporal Jones.

His catchphrase "They don't like it up em! Mr Mannering!" always had me chuckling along with the rest of the cast, they must have had a great time making Dad's Army, he will be sorely missed as all the others who have gone to join that reserve army in the sky>

I loved Dad's Army and I have read many articles where people who were in the Home Guard say that it really was like that!

Clive Dunn was a consumate professional and a lovely man and he will be missed :(

Massive shame Doing the maths, I never realised he was quite young playing an older man! Clearly a good actor

 

Love Dad's Army and can't not watch it any time it's shown on telly. RIP Clive.
