Magazine disposal

Need a bit of advice, I've got about 100+ Car and Car Conversion magazines which I need to get rid of due to moving house.

 

Short of a bonfire what will be best, they must have a bit of value but I don't know if putting them on Ebay would be the best way or if there are sites more specialised? They are too heavy to post really so would need to be collected.

 

Any (sensible ) suggestions welcomed!

E-Bay was the first thing to come to mind or post up on a specialist website/forum if anyone wants them. Someone always wants a back issue.

 

Otherwise down to the local recycle place.

If you just want to recycle them then id find a local group/charity that does paper recycling to raise funds for itself. im sure 100+ magazines will raise some money for them.

 

If you want to sell/give to some who wants them to read id try ebay or if there is a car club in your local area that is the same as the magazines then why not email the owner/post on the forum about them. or find second hand car parts sale near you and take them there to sell?

I don't know whether a doctor's surgery or a dentist may take them? It'd be nice to see something other than Woman's Weekly and the like in my doctors, that's for sure!

Freecycle if you want rid quickly.

 

While you could sell them, it depends how much you value your time - probably more effort than it's worth

Freecycle or Freegle to get rid of them quickly at zero cost.

 

Ebay is possible, but I suggest you do local pickup only.

 

If you decide to recycle, you may not find your local Scout group interested any more. Ours has given up as the collectors aren't interested in such small volumes of paper as they collect. They have 2 big wheelie bins

If you've not built up a decent feedback score on ebay, it might be worth selling it on eBay just for that.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try a couple of car forums then see if someone worthy can make some money.
