maestromasada Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 guess what I found just now when looking at our sims SQL evenvtvwr, doing routine remote maintenance: Event ID: 1827 CREATE DATABASE or ALTER DATABASE failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 4096 MB per database. omg! have checked our sims.mdf file and is over 4GB! don't really know how long has it been like that, didn't event know the SQL 2008 Express version that we have was limited to 4GB! Reckon a hurry-and-buy full version of SQL 2008 is on the move to fix this issues. School is shut and i don't know what problem this error will cause next monday when SIMS is expected to be fully operational, have you guys running sql 2008 xpress had similar issue before? it's my fault, use to check evenvtvwr every monday, but havent' done that since we came back in september, so busy...
theriver Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Does SIMS support R2? The file size limit got jacked up to 10Gb for that release.
