Share and NTFS

Hi

 

I am setting up a staff shared area on the network. I have given everybody full control on the share and NTFS I have given the groups permissions. Is this the correct way. I have tested this as a pupil and they are unable to get to the share.

What I tended to do was setup a shared folder with sub-folders for each subject. Then only allow staff of that subject to save into that subject.

 

What I would do is make sure there is a set of sub-folders defined and not allow staff to create new ones otherwise you will have hundreds.
