We are currently seeking an experienced ICT technician and senior ICT technician to join our successful IT Services department, to start as soon as possible.

Do the wages include London weighting bonus?

We don't really have London weighting as a separate figure, but the pay scales themselves are supposedly weighted to take into account the costs of living in London.

So in nutshell, yes it's included

I saw this ad on the net a few weeks ago, isnt it looking after a few local primary schools also?

It is indeed, it's quite a big part of the role. The good thing is that all our primary schools really value their ICT so all have pretty good networks which helps!

Also, how close are the primaries to the main site?

HArdware is all HP Servers and switches. Software is Windows Server 2008 and windows 7 clients, all plain vainlla networks except one school which is cc4 (which already have plans in place to migrate away from)

All the schools are within a 15 minute walk away except one which is a short bus ride or next tube station down.
