Hi again,

myFiles works for Domain Admins but not for Staff or Students

I get the response {"Message":"Something is wrong","Detail":null,"FaultType":"Exception"}

when I'm on as either staff or students.

I've tried checking all the permissions and they look correct.

My mapping is as follows and write checks are on.

%homedir%

Also, i can't seem to get the quota system working either. we do directory level quotas if that makes a difference.

Sorry for being such a noob, i have tried looking in this forum and haven't found any similar issues.

Thanks Nick.

I'd started testing HAP recently and couldn't figure out why it was working for some users and not others. Turns out that the EasyLink group was allowed local logon, so that explains it!

Thanks Nick,

Any idea on the quota server?

mapping is:

%homedir%

\\nasbvm\users$\%username%

My user files are stored for staff

Server: nasbvm

Drive: U

UNC: \\nasbvm\users$\staff\%username%

We do use directory level quotas not drive quotas.

You need to make sure you use the x64 installer for the quota server service, which needs to be installed on the nasbvm server.

The drive in the quotaserver is the drive the home directories sit on

Check the event viewer on the home directory server to see what the service is doing
