SIMS Support Consultant role - Oxfordshire

A SIMS support unit in Oxfordshire are seeking a new employee with a good working knowledge and passion for primary and secondary SIMS. The post holder is required to provide consultancy, training and support to schools in the use of SIMS to ensure effective use and improve efficiency of the systems use within different schools. The role involves visiting schools in the Oxfordshire area (mostly) and liaising with senior managers, Head teachers and administrative staff to raise awareness and further develop the use of SIMS. The post requires excellent communications skills and a sound knowledge of education. You will need to have to have knowledge in some of if not all of these areas -assessment, exams, timetabling, Nova T6, cover, attendance, behaviour and course manager. The role is a contract until the end of the year with the possibility of extending into next year. The rate is negotiable.
