richbrowncardiff Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Hi All, any help as always will be much appreciated. i cant seem to provision new users from Sims into SLG. It was working pre summer upgrade and as requested by support have changed the default application pool .net version to v2.x rather than 4.x but still no joy. in sims i have allocated the new staff to be provisioned and have allowed both overnight job to run and run the provisioning script manually but still no joy. Any ideas ? Many thanks in advance.
rh91uk Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 What do you get in the error logs? Are all the web services running? have you tried restarting the ADPSLG service?

For some reason it seems if SLG times out it restarts from scratch, and thus won't ever complete. You can increase the timeout settings to let it run longer, and that's sorted the same kind of issue for us before. But could be a lot of things, Do you have any errors at all, or just nothing working? Steve
richbrowncardiff Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 Hi Guys, no erros (on my end). all completes as it should. time out doesn't seem to be the problem. Its as if their are no users in the provisioning list (but their are) All services running and have been restarted as a precaution.
cheesypete Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Could be any number of things - change of server IP? Tap Adapter ok? Firewall? Ultimately I suggest you simply get in touch with the Capita Support team - I've had similar problems and they've remotely logged in and sorted without too much hassle
