bensewell Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hiya, My Smooth gallery component / module wouldnt work right i couldnt get into it without getting code errors. So i uninstalled it deleted anything that was in the component and module folders associated with the smooth gallery. I then re uploaded and installed the smooth gallery component. It was all going so well. But, When i tried to install the component part i got a SQL error message. Without looking in my MYSQL book at home i cant decipher the problem behind this one. I think i've got a duplicate MYSQL record. I might be able to knock it out through the mysql terminal but just wondered if anybody has experienced the same sort of thing in the past before i start messing with sql scripts. Guest Guest Posted June 24, 2007 Posted June 24, 2007 Ive had the exact same problem, i just put it down to it running under windows and something not being quite right. Am i right??
Guest Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Looking at your pic it seems that the smooth gallery database tables still exist. Try uninstalling the component again and the droping the tables via phpmyadmin. Then try to reinstall
