A few basic HAP+ questions before I install.

Hi,

 

Just a few basic questions.

 

Q1. Does HAP work for XP clients?

 

Q2. The instructions say that it needs to be installed onto a website with SSL enabled. I have a fresh install of 2008R2, what needs to be done to create a website with SSL enabled.

 

Will probably be asking a few more questions when I have the above answered.

Q3. The instructions say to install .net full V4 but this seems to be already installed on my new 2008r2 server which has only had all updates run. Is that correct and I do not need to re-install.

Q1 - Yep it works on pretty much anything with a modern web browser - possible to have people getting documents on their phones/tabets as well

You need to send a request to a certificate authority. This post has details of how to setup IIS7 and SSL

If you already have .Net v4 installed on your server, then your ok.

Q4. When installing the IIS role do I need to check or remove any services during the IIS install for HAP to work? for example ASP.NET is not ticked by default.

Thanks but that was just a random empty tick box I picked, what else is needs to be ticked or un-ticked out of the 30 or so services listed.
