Access is denied on computer name / domain change

Hi,

I have a workstation that i use that i need to move from our RM CC4 domain onto our new domain.

I have managed to move the machine onto a workgroup but when i go to join it to our new domain i get access is denied error.

I am logged on as local administrator and i enter domain administrator credentials on the domain join prompt.

Can anyone help?
