The school paid an external company to design them a new website a while ago. I don't think it looks that great but it is an improvement on the previous one.

It is a Joomla site (version 1.5.25) with a custom theme. There are modules for different headers and links on the right.

The problem I am having is that on the front page: St Columba's | Home

If you click on the links on the right ie E-Safety Information, Reflections, Weekly News

The link goes to the page but that page does not show a header or right hand side module

But if you go to the Staff & Email page: Staff & Email

Then click on the links on the right ie E-Safety Information, Reflections, Weekly News

You do get the header or right hand side module

Does anyone know why this happens? Is there a way I can fix it?

Hi, At first guess the modules that are missing could be set to only show on certain pages, I dont have access to a 1.5 install but I can have a guess at the path you need to follow!

In the administration panel to go extensions, modules and open the module that has the issue. Below on the settings there should be options similar to "Only display on these pages" which I am assuming you could change to "display on all pages"

Hope this helps

That would solve the problem but different pages have different header and right hand link modules. So we are using the "Only display on these pages" option. If I tick the "Display on all pages" button some pages then get 2 headers

I can't select those pages from the list because the list only shows Menu Items and I don't want them to appear on the top menu so can't add them to it

It's strange that it only happens on the front page and not any of the others

I assume the menu down the right is a separate menu? You should be able to pick which menu it shows pages from, and then select which items have the header.

It is strange that some pages show twice if you select that option, sounds very strangely setup that some are coming from a different module.
