Hi,

I have a few Samsung NC110 and I'm trying to get them to boot from USB. I've tried an external DVD with CLonezilla, and also tried USB memory stick. WHen I got into the bios, it still only shows the SATA disk as a boot option.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I had this problem and eventually gave up trying to do it.

When I wanted to change them to Win7 Enterprise and image them I ended up splitting the first partition into two and making the second into a bootable Windows install, then when I was done I just deleted that partition and extended the original under the new Windows install. To get it onto the rest of the NC110s we had I ended up using Windows Deployment Services with PXE boot.

Hi, had the same problem here. I know it's probably a bit late for you now, but here's how I enabled USB boot on the NC-110.

Press F2 to get into setup, under Advanced disable Fast BIOS Mode. Save and reset.

Press F2 again and you'll find that the USB drive is now available under the Boot Device Priority section.
