Hey all

Basically the GPOs are saying they are applying but they are actually not! This only seems to apply this particular GPO, for example the user should not get access to the control panel yet they have got access! This GPO controls access to the Start Menu, Control Panel etc.

rsop.msc says the policies applied and the settings are there but they are not working. Permissions on the GPO are Authenticated Users and Domain Users have "Apply GPO" rights. The GPO does not apply to any other containers either.

I have the CSE program installed - Information about new Group Policy preferences in Windows Server 2008 however this has not helped at all.

Info:

DC - Server 2008 R2

Client - XP SP3

I am starting to pull my (little remaining) hair out over this, I am sure its something silly but I just cant figure it out! Thanks for any help you can give!
