gmail, icloud, amazon,twitter comprimised via social engineering of the support teams, ipad and mac all wiped. Less than one hour to complete.

 

How easily could this happen to you?

 

Call me presumptuous, but I'd wager "very".

 

What to do now?

Backup your accounts and all data.

Keep your backup offline (i.e don't leave your Time Capsule/Machine Windows Backup HDD connected)

Use a differeent credit card for each major provider

Keep a very close eye on your account that is your nominated backup email address.

Do not have circular backup addresses (e.g. gmail->me.com me.com->gmail.com)

Set up two factor authentication where offered.

Anything else? anything wrong with the above?
