HDMI 4x2 Matrix

Ive never used an HDMI matrix before and wondered if anyone here had?

 

I'm looking to share an AV amp with 4 HDMI inputs (inc 1 cable box) and another 2 separate HDMI inputs( inc a second cable box)

 

I want to be able to show the two cables boxes independently on both tvs and the other inputs but also simultaneously if needed eg party or whatever.

 

The only caveat is that the 2nd tv's audio will be the tv speakers and the main tv will be the speakers from the A/V amp which will run in multi zone into a 3rd area for audio only.

 

The real goal is to have no av gear in view for 3 rooms but still function as before using ir extenders and or rf remotes.

My other option would be a dual hdmi output av amp with bd TiVo pc and appletv on one tv and then have a switch with the avamp and second cable box switched to the second tv, in fact that is probably cheaper and simpler!
