CC4 Unable to delete package from RMMC

Hi Everyone,

 

Wondering if you can help me, I’ve basically imported a package that has no file size. (Don’t laugh! forgot to add files) Now it appears in the RMMC but because it hasn’t actually got a file set it never created a folder in Repoman. When I go to delete the package it disappears then reappears when refreshing the screen.

 

Any ideas? I’ve had a look in the database but can’t work-out where it is….

Don't mess with the database directly. Dangerous territory. Do you have an active support agreement?

Yep as above, were only live on our 1st week of CC4, it stores the package folders with some sort of GUID name on your forest root. Seek advice is my pennethworth before commencing!

\\*Servername*\RMManage\repoman\filestore1 is where they are. On your first DC you should have an icon on the desktop called CC4 Repoman GUID Viewer. Run this and click on the right hand side to search. A list of GUIDS with their package name will appear.

Sadly this is not the case as there were no file set to import therefore no folder with the GUID was created. Had to go into the database and RM went into the table called BlobVersion then set the value of the PackageStatus to '0', I was on the right track but never went into BlobVersion.

 

Hope this helps someone else out in the future.
