Certificate and Outlook domain issues

Hello,

 

Hope i got this in the right place.

 

Essentially our internal domain is myschool.ealing.sch.uk

We moved to myschoolhighschool.co.uk externally

 

Now for OWA i have a certificate for the new domain, which works fine etc, but internally we get a popup stating the certificate doesnt match the name of the site (which is right). I tried getting a new certificate with the old domain as subject alternative name, but that hasnt fixed the issue.

 

Im not sure what way is best to proceed with this. Any advice appreciated.

 

Exchange 2007 (no service packs)

Server 2008 R2 SP1

Clients on XP with Office 2010

You should get your exchange updated btw.

 

Did you include the internal server sane in the SAN certificate.

Yes, sorry if i wasnt very clear.

 

Previously out internal and external domain were both myschool.ealing.sch.uk

 

I included this in the SAN name, but no effect, still getting these little pop up boxes.

I mean did you include the server name like exchange-server.myschool.ealing.sch.uk

Yes, on both the CN and SAN the server name was included.

1. Exch 2007 isn't supported anymore so I advise you to go to SP3 UR7.

2. Can you post/PM me the output below.

 

Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl > C:\cert.txt

Get-ClientAccessServer | fl > C:\cas.txt

Get-WebServicesVirtualDirectory | fl *URL* > c:\webServices.txt

Get-OABVirtualDirectory | fl *URL* > c:\oab.txt
